September is National Infant Mortality Awareness Month—a dedicated time to deepen public understanding of infant health, recognize families affected by infant loss, and connect communities with reliable information and opportunities to learn.

A Shared Call to Learn
Maternal and infant health can be influenced by more than an individual clinical appointment or personal choice. Everyday conditions—including housing, transportation, access to nutritious food, health coverage, understandable health information, and community support—can make it easier or harder for families to protect their health.
