National Trends and Services

The National Trends & Services facet focuses on eliminating disparities to reduce barriers to services through leadership, education, and service. The mission of this facet is to empower the membership to effectively empower the various communities served.

Louisiana Links Day at the Capitol is an advocacy project which culminates in a one-day event each year.  Links from the Baton Rouge Chapter as well as across the state attend and engage in the development of legislative agendas which reflect critical issues of importance in our community, at both the local and state level.  Links Day at the Capitol provides an opportunity for members to share their concerns about issues important to African American communities with state legislators.
